William (Bo) Gast

William Gast, better known as Bo, has over 25 years experience with Beckman & Gast Bo. earned a bachelors degree in Food Science from The Ohio State University in 1976 and began working at Beckman & Gast the same year. Like most employees, Bo is involved in many areas of the business. During the spring, summer, and fall Bo manages our farm operations. He oversees everything from planting until harvesting. The winter months will find Bo being a mechanic and our purchasing agent for all growers and vegetable brokers. Bo is the President of the company in addition to his role as Agricultural Manager.

Bo is a part of the third generation of management at Beckman & Gast. He is a son to the late Bill & Gerry Gast and grandson to co-fouinder Lewis Gast. He is married to Jane who also works at Beckman & Gast in our customer service group.
